SANDPOLO at SANDBANKS
The British Beach Polo Championships will be taking place at Sandbanks, Poole, on the 10th and 11th of July. For more information please contact www.sandpolo.com. ROR Polo Seminar 2009
On Monday 6th July ROR will be holding a Seminar on retraining racehorses to play polo. The day will run from around 1000 - 1500 and will include the following: A talk from a racing and polo vet, A talk from a racehorse trainer, Demonstrations on the schooling and retraining ponies, A run through of the 'Sales' process and how to go about purchasing a horse from the sales. All HPA members are invited to attend but there are a limited number of spaces left so please let me know asap. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OVERSEAS WORK EXPERIENCE BURSARIES
The HPA are providing bursaries for talented 17, 18 and 19 year olds who might be interested in working abroad. If this appeals, please contact David Woodd at the HPA by the 24th July.

Safety Issue – Charles Owen Palermo Helmets
The Chairman announced that all Charles Owen Palermo Helmets manufactured before the 1st September 2008 should be returned to Charles Owen, SATS, Roxtons or Polo Splice due to a design fault. The date of manufacturer is on the label under the lining of the helmet. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
